Nigel Hubbers has been involved with Indian healthcare through his teaching of yoga and meditation since the early 1980’s. He was introduced to Ayurveda almost 20 years ago when he was treated successfully for Burnout Syndrome and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. He was so impressed that he decided to change career paths and embarked on a 5 year training starting with a BA(Hons) Degree in  Ayurvedic Studies at Thames Valley University . This was followed by practical training in India, Sri Lanka, Australia and Germany.  Nigel is currently resident in Salzburg, Austria and also practices in Germany and UK. Nigel  has continued to be guided in his practice by Dr Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute, Albequerque, USA.

Nigel’s particular interest is in Natural Healing - restoring the body balance to allow it to heal itself. He focuses on how our diet and lifestyle, past experiences and relationships at home and work  affect our physical and emotional balance and contribute to the development of disease.
